Christmas Eve in WA

Our 'gauge' - the table's looking pretty buried!

And... you can barely see the bench...

This icicle fell off the house last night.
Good thing no one was standing under it!!

The icicles on the side of the house as of yesterday.
They're about a foot longer today!

Mmm... we're dreaming of a birdie Christmas!

The Shortest Day of the Year?

Update - 5:00PM

A few more fun pictures from the day.

Goodness I hope so!!

Just an update - we got probably another 4 inches of snow last night and instead of being all powdery and soft like it was yesterday, it's got about a 1/4 inch frozen 'crust' on the top this morning. 20 degrees overnight will do that, I guess.

Compare this to yesterday's pic (below)

Here's the 'crust'

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

We're still not quite used to this kind of weather, but it sure is beautiful!

There's at least 6 inches of snow here!

Teacups or snowcones?
